Yes, the tittle is written in two languages. This is the spirit that children will experience from September at Curious Minds. A place designed for the younger ones, which respects each child’s potential and rights.
Vânia de Castro, Mestre, Diretora Pedagógica do CURIOUS MINDS, com experiência comprovada em Supervisão Pedagógica e diversas especializações na área da Coordenação e Crianças Talentosas, abre as portas a este projeto ao qual se entrega de corpo e alma.
Em setembro deste ano, no centro de Santa Maria da Feira, Pais/Encarregados de Educação, Crianças e Comunidade Educativa, poderão contar com uma oferta diferenciadora, num espaço seguro e com uma enorme diversidade de materiais pedagógicos, escolhidos com o máximo rigor. Sem esquecer o espaço exterior, amplo e que contemplará uma horta biológica.
Vânia de Castro, MEd, is the education director at CURIOUS MINDS. With certified experience in Educational Supervision and various specialisations in the field of Coordination and Talented Children, Vânia opens doors to this Project to which she is giving her body and soul.
In the upcoming month of September, parents/guardians, children and the whole of the education community will be able to find a rather different alternative in the centre of Santa Maria da Feira. A safe space with a great variety of educational materials, all very carefully chosen. Not forgetting the large outdoor space, will look on organic vegetable garden.
Projeto Pedagógico
Bilinguismo Além da língua Portuguesa, também a língua Inglesa integra o Projeto, através de um trabalho de cooperação entre o Educador de Infância e o Professor de Inglês, todos os dias, em que, de forma espontânea, as crianças são incentivadas a compreender e expressar mensagens, num ambiente natural. Metodologia O Projeto Pedagógico do CURIOUS MINDS inspira-se no Modelo Reggio Emilia, através da escuta atenta das crianças e da observação dos seus interesses e preocupações, concentrando-se em registos e comentários acerca da sua aprendizagem. Ateliers e a proximidade com as famílias De forma a potenciar as relações com os outros e a proximidade entre família-criança-escola, as famílias terão a oportunidade de poder participar nas atividades levadas a cabo no CURIOUS MINDS, uma vez por semana. Será um local destinado a todo o tipo de artes onde a criança pode explorar com as mãos e com a mente, aprendendo a utilizar diversas técnicas de expressão e exploração de materiais.
Educational Project
Bilingualism: Besides the Portuguese language, the English language will also be a key part of this Project. Through constant cooperation between the English teacher and the kindergarten teacher, children will be spontaneously encouraged to understand and express messages in a natural environment. Methodology: The Educational Project of CURIOUS MINDS is inspired in the Reggio Emilia model, which through active listening and observation of children’s interests and worries, focuses in records and comments about their own learning experience. Workshops and family involvement: In order to promote community and proximity between family-child-school, families will have the opportunity to be a part of the activities taking place at CURIOUS MINDS, once a week. This will be a place dedicated to every single type of art where children will be able to explore with their hands and mind while learning how to use diverse techniques of expression and exploration of tools.
